Haven't had much time in the last few days, had to replace my rear tire which wasn't just worn, it was illegal.  Went tonight to pick up a set of hard bags for my little pack mule, will be doing that project this weekend.

I have been wondering though if I know any of you Tampa guys...

I can't take credit for the latest post. It seems to have been removed. Mine was posted on Oct. 1st and is still there. I will repost it to bring it back to the top.

Did you replace all three?  Grin

If you would, post your tire selection in the thread below. We're trying to keep track of tire buys, types and how members rate them.

No, just the main rear tire to the bike itself.  I've had the tire here for a couple months, a friend gave it to me, wrong size for his bike, right size for mine.  Today we start work on installing hard trunk and saddlebags on my contraption.  Never a dull moment around here!

Good luck. It's usually those seemingly simple things that turn into the biggest pains.  Smiley

Pics when you're done...

p.s. Tell your friend to join BF, too.

Got the trunk part of the setup installed, 4 hours for hardware, another 3 hours for the wiring!  Side bags won't be put on till we can hook up with a welder to redo the floorboards on the trike kit, not passenger friendly.  Opting for metal mesh with a frame that will stop feet from vibrating/sliding off the current diamond plate floorboards. Installing the hard saddlebags now would require them to be UN-installed to re-do the flooring, then re-installed, time that could be better spent riding. Smiley

All this while trying to make dresses for the upcoming Gasparilla Krewe events and still show up for the day job....

got his info saved, will definitely give him a call if we can't locate our welder. (Slightly wacked-out ex-marine who disappears for a couple months at a time.)  The lights work great too, got the inside lights set up as running lights and the outside set up as brake lights, since all the trappings I have on there might hinder the one brake light visibility.  There was a massive light bar included with all the hard bags, which will also be installed once the new flooring is done.  You would think cagers could see me with the wide ass my little pack mule has, but had a red pickup truck almost run right up my rear end just today, to say nothing of car coming the opposite direction on a 2 lane road when the driver decided he/she was supposed to drive ON the center line....definitely a butt-puckering moment!
