I saw this bike on the street in Chicago. It was a total POS, but it did have going for it this most excellent accessory. When you twist the throttle, it makes a really cheesy motorcycle rev sound. What an awesome flashback!

I am pretty sure I had one of these around 1976 or so.

It's so funny that you saw one of those. I do remember them from the 70s; never had one on my stingray banana seat bike, but I did have most of the other cheesy stuff of that day. What's really funny is I was in the Walmart bike section with my son about a year ago, maybe, and I saw one in the horn section, except it was black. I thought...no, they can't still be selling those things. Maybe it was a leftover from the 70s.  Smiley

I remember that. Bag, didn't you have one on your bike with the black MX seat? I remember trying to ride that thing and falling right over.

I had on of those on my Stingray...Must be '70 or '71...it was red and I loved it. I was a biker in my heart at 8. Remember "Then came Bronson"?

I have the complete Then Came Bronson Series on DVD. You are correct, there was a movie that explained how he started traveling before the series started. They are cool to watch, a little corny but you have to remember when they were made.
