I have the bike torn a part right now. I'm in the middle of installing LEDs to light it up. I will post pictures with it lite up when I'm finished. It looks good so far. I can't wait to finish it. Hopefully tomorrow it will be done. If not definitely by Sunday.

If anyone has pictures of your bike lite up at night. Post them up here.

Lookin' good my friend!

Thanks.

Well it's done for now. We used up all the lights, but didn't cover the whole bike. We were only able to to the mid section. The front, rear and underneath will be the next project, when I get more lights. All together there is 182 LEDs on it now. There's seven 9" strips, each containing 24 bulbs. There's two 6 light pods and 2 singles. I couldn't have done it without the help or my buddy Joe, who doesn't do the internet. I will take more pictures of it and his ZX11 all lite up tonight.

Here it is all done. Notice the difference from the first set of pictures. I took these really quick this morning before I went to work.

Man, your bike really does look like its on fire! Do you ride it around like that, or is it distracting? I'm not trying to be a jagoff, I just really want to know. Everybody would see you coming, that's for sure.

I do ride around like that. I've only been out at night twice so far with no hassles. About  minutes of my ride to work in the morning it's still dark and I have them on then also. When the headlight and taillight are on that drowns them out.

 Looks really fine!

Was it had to hook them up? The wife has been after me to do them on my new bike but I am not exactly
electonically inclined when it comes to the bike. it took me long enough just to hardwire the GPS.  Tongue

Damn sure looks awesome! I want to put them on my bike. I believe it is a saftey (easier seen) issue as well. Anything to make you more visible at night.
Thinking about getting it done at Plant City bike night. BUT, I want to know, how difficult was it yo do. I might attempt it.

I see CustomMagna signed in on occassion, but infrequently. You might consider lobbing him a PM. I don't think anyone else on the board has done that. I'll bet that's pretty easy to do, and you could work the lighting strips around just the way you like it.
